9HDigital is Malta's largest creative, tech, and AI agency. The company was formed in 2022 from the merger of ANCHOVY Studios and NIU — what local press called "Malta's largest digital alliance." It's publicly traded via parent company 9H Capital P.L.C., with 50+ staff led by CEO Benji Borg, and offices in Malta and Riyadh.

Their flagship AI product is H6 (h6.ai) — an accounts payable automation platform that processes 20,000+ invoices per month for hotel and finance teams. H6 claims 70–90% straight-through processing and 99% document extraction accuracy. It's a serious product for hospitality and finance businesses with high invoice volumes.

Beyond H6, 9HDigital offers custom AI agents, workflow automation, web development (they rebuilt the MFSA website), and full brand building. Founded in 1991 as Advanced Industrial Systems (not "Advanced IT Solutions," as some lists claim), AIS is a 35-year-old engineering and technology group with 60+ staff across three divisions: building automation (AIS Technology), business software (AIS Software), and environmental monitoring (AIS Environment).

What AIS does well is physical infrastructure. They install smart building systems — energy management, CCTV, access control, time-and-attendance hardware — for clients like Malta International Airport, Saint James Hospital, the 1926 Hotel, and ECabs.
